Who’s who in the cetacean family
There are some 80 species of whales, dolphins and porpoises in the world. They all belong to the same big family called cetacea. Under this big family are the toothed whales and baleen whales. Similar to humans, toothed whales have teeth for catching fish, while baleen whales have closely-packed baleens for filtering food from sea water. Do you know who's who?
Searching for Whales and Dolphins
Encountering whales or dolphins at sea is by no means easy. Try your luck. Maybe you can find them all out! (Tips: There are altogether 18 cetacean species. They can be horizontal, vertical, titled or inverted.)
